Congratulations to Bill Cossen (Ph.D. 2016) who has received two research/travel grants!

The first is a research travel grant from the University of Notre Dame’s Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism for his project on lived religion among Catholic soldiers in the Civil War.

He also received a conference travel grant from the Labor and Working-Class History Association (LAWCHA) to present a paper on gender and Catholic labor schools at the LAWCHA meeting this spring.
