Biography

I am a 1st-year Dual-title PhD student in History & African American Studies. I received my BA in History from Spelman College in 2017 and my MA in Global, International, & Comparative History from Georgetown University in 2020. My research interests primarily focus on free Black people during the 19th century, particularly those who belonged to the burgeoning Black Bourgeoisie class.
