Victoria McKeller-Peoples is a second-year Ph.D. student and serves as a research assistant with the Center for Black Digital Research. Her research examines the social networks of Black Coloradan communities in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, focusing on ideas of home, freedom, and relationships with land. She also has interests in public history and environmental history, informed by previous work with the National Park Service, 4-H, and the Black American West Museum and Cultural Center.
