Barrio America is the latest book by Richards Center faculty affiliate Dr. Andrew K. Sandoval-Strausz, associate professor of history. The book explores how Latino and Latina immigrants revived American cities beginning in the 1970s, following decades of disinvestment and white migration to the suburbs.
