The Richards Center would like to invite you to participate in a workshop for Journal of the Civil War Era special issue titled Capitalism and the Developmental State in the U.S. Civil War Era,” to be held on Friday, April 10, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., 102 Weaver Building, with Editors Greg Downs, Chair and Professor of History at University of California, Davis and Kate Masur, John D. MacArthur Professor and Professor of History at Northwestern University and featured scholars and guest editors.
