Biography:
I am a PhD candidate in 19th Century American History pursuing a dual-degree with Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I have taught courses in History, Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and African American Studies at Penn State (University Park). I am also an affiliated member of the George and Ann Richards Civil War Era Center. My research interests include American imperialism, trade, women's and gender history, and Hawai'i.
